Position Summary:
The warehouse forklift Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team, the DC Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork, and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
Primary responsibilities of the DC Associate include:
• Marks pallets with identifying store information
• Uses lift equipment (manual pallet jack for Worldpac or Forklift (Advance Auto will certify)) as needed once training and certification are completed
• Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
• Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)
• Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
• whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Shift Requirements
• Candidates must make a commitment to work their full scheduled shift. The client is asking for flexibility to help on other shifts as a nice-to-have!!
• Required Overtime including weekends and holidays may be requested with little notice.

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack (WP) or Forklift (AAP)
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

• Bending/Stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve product
• Standing/walking for extended periods of time
• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts while operating manual pallet jacks or forklift trucks
• The noise level in the work environment may be high at times
Many contractors convert to full time employees. The following are the eligibility requirements to convert:
• Being at least 18 years of age
• Having a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
• Being eligible to work in the United States"
Pay Rate: 17.70
Work Schedule: 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM
Orientation Schedule: arrive at 10:00 AM, 6 hour training/orientation. Return to regular shift schedule the following day.
*Required overtime may be requested with little notice, including holidays and weekends.
Pay Details: $17.70 per hour
