- MUST HAVE ACTIVE VA LICENSE AT SUBMISSION
- BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN REQUIRED
Job Details
- Requested Skill Set: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby
- Must have: Fetal monitor interpretation, high risk antepartum care active labor management, c-section circulation, post-partum care, circumcision assist procedures, bili light care, lab draw from mother and baby, magnesium administration for pre-eclamptic patients
- Advanced skills needed: NRP, BLS
- Procedures performed on unit: C-section, circumcision, vaginal deliveries, antepartum testing, ultra sounds
- Certifications Required: Fetal Monitor Certification
Job Requirements
- Scheduling requirements: Every 3rd weekend

- Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 11 Labor Beds/2 Triage/2 OR
- Patient Ratios: 1:1 Laboring patients 3:1 Couplets
- Unit staffing description: Birth Registrar/Surgical OR Techs
- Type of equipment: Monica- wireless fetal monitoring/ GE fetal monitoring
- Documentation system: Meditech/CPN
- Floating policy: Float to Sister Facility LD/PP
- Patient Experience requirements: Bedside Report/Safety Rounding
- Dress Code: Navy Uniforms
- Awards/Recognition: Unit Based Council, Daisy Award
