Catered Creations, Inc. is a family-owned, off-premise catering company. Our family has been serving Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas with imaginative foods, quality ingredients, and reliable service for over 36 years. We’ll cater any event from corporate meetings, to grad parties, to weddings, and everything in between. We’ll even bring ‘the kitchen' to our clients & their guests!
We are looking for the right individuals who would like to grow professionally and learn a new skill set. These individuals must have a clean driving record.
Responsibilities:
Gather and pack all food and equipment necessary for delivery events
Deliver food, beverages, and equipment to designated areas for delivery events- could be up to 5 different drop points daily
Set-up and pick-up of catering events as scheduled
Load and unload delivery vans and trucks
Run daily errands to local vendors
Respond to inquiries from customers in a courteous manner
Stock and clean work areas and related equipment
Return dishes, utensils, etc. to the kitchen for cleaning
Stay on time and follow delivery and event schedules
Set up dining room for events as instructed by Banquet Captain to include linen, service-ware, glassware, etc.
Serve & replenish food & beverages to guest tables
Assist Back of House if needed
Promptly bus guest tables for events
Assist in event & prep clean up
Qualifications:
Must have a valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be proficient in navigating around West Michigan
Must be able to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to work evenings, and weekends and be flexible in scheduling from week to week
Must be adaptable to weekly schedule changes due to event bookings
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and be positive and respectful in working with a diverse population
Must be dependable and have reliable transportation
Motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
Able to work on feet in fast paced environment for 8+ hours
