Location: Ladson, South Carolina
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM Start time (Approx. 42-45 hours/week)
Pay: $23.00 and hour and Paid at time and a half after 40 hours
About the Position:
We are seeking a reliable CDL Class B Driver to join our team. In this hybrid role, you'll spend 80% of your time driving and 20% assisting with warehouse tasks. You’ll be responsible for delivering building materials (shingles, doors, windows, siding) using a 22'-24' flatbed with moffett or box truck. This position requires teamwork and flexibility, as you'll assist with loading/unloading and customer deliveries as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive company trucks to deliver building materials, including shingles, doors, and windows
Operate a moffett forklift to unload pallets; manual unloading required for larger items
Assist warehouse team as needed with loading and customer service
Safely lift up to 90-100 lbs during deliveries
Drive alongside seasoned employees for training on equipment and procedures
Use carts and other tools to assist in product delivery
Maintain safety and cleanliness of truck and work environment
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class B license
1+ years of driving experience
Ability to lift 90-100 lbs and handle heavy materials
Forklift experience a plus
Ability to work early mornings and overtime as needed
Team player with a strong work ethic and dependability
