Suncoast Drivers is *URGENTLY* looking for a dependable Class A driver with proven employment history to join our team in Savannah, GA. Must be able to work 50 hours a week. No touch freight drop-and-hook.
*Hours are: M-F 6am-6pm. Pay is: $24.50/hr. Paid Weekly on Fridays!!*
*Job Overview:*
CDL Truck Driver will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. May occasionally need to handle pallets.
Picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities.
*Duties:*
* Safely operate a variety of trucks including dump trucks, tankers, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers
* Deliver and pick up tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets within certain miles
* Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining professional interactions with clients
* Submit reports after trips indicating truck conditions
*Requirements:*
* Has a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle
* Is 23 years of age
* At least 1+ years verifiable experience operating the type of equipment he/she will be assigned to drive within last 3 years
* Make entries on reports and records
