Overview
The Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of powered and non-powered material handling equipment within a warehouse environment. The role involves performing various warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment, while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
Job Description

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to perform shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment tasks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Utilize RF equipment to process inbound and outbound orders accurately.
• Ensure accuracy of all transactions related to item quantity and processing.
• Perform cycle counts and quality assurance inspections as required to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Inspect and quality-check all outbound freight to ensure correct items and quantities are shipped without damage.
• Load shipments onto trailers and vans, ensuring safe and secure transit.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous certification for Reach, Dock stocker, or Sit-down forklift.
• Experience using RF scanners.
• Strong math, reading comprehension, and writing skills.
• Minimum of two years of warehouse experience, including one year of stand-up forklift experience.
• bility to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods (team lift required for heavier items).
• Must be a team player and able to work well with co-workers.
