Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Hackensack, NJ

Weekly Pay Range - $2270 To $2522

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holidays required
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery, recent experience required; 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred
**License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
**Certifications:**
- Required: BLS-AHA
- Preferred: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or EFM
**Must-Have:**
- EPIC experience preferred
- Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC certification in electronic fetal monitoring preferred
- Successful completion of a basic fetal monitoring test during onboarding
**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients based on assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage patient care.
- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
