**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years
**License:** Registered Nurse License valid in the state where care is provided
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
**Must-Have:** ACLS Certification
**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive care to mothers during labor and delivery, focusing on patient safety and well-being.
- Monitor the physical condition of mothers and babies, ensuring timely medical interventions.
- Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth and post-delivery care, fostering a supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring all medical documents are up-to-date.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, implementing neonatal resuscitation when necessary.
- Facilitate a high standard of care in high-risk labor and delivery scenarios.
- Demonstrate professional growth by keeping current with healthcare trends and labor and delivery practices.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, five or more years of recent labor and delivery experience, and high-risk OB experience within the last two years.
