Overview

We are seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to join our Team in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Overnight trips will be the exception. Your truck will be a Quad Axle 80,000# Flatbed with Conestoga Tarp System. This position offers competitive pay and a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Transporting Injection and Compression molds and materials using a 80,000 GVW truck
• Ensuring safe and timely delivery of products
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Maintaining accurate logs and records
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Interact with Coworkers, Customers and Vendors in a professional manner
• Maintain clean and organized truck(s), Including basic maintenance

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record
• Air Brake Endorsement
• Previous experience driving flatbed trucks preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfort driving a manual transission truck
• Reliable and punctual
• Great Communication and customer service skills
• Mechanical troubleshooting skills
• flexiblity on your staring time in order to meet customer expectations.
