**POSITION SUMMARY**
**RATE**
**$26.89 + $8.34-$10.96** **/** **hr Health and Welfare** .
The main duties of the Truck Driver will include, but not be limited to the following:
+ Operation of a combination of equipment including street sweepers, tractors with trailer and dump trucks
+ Loading of general construction equipment including skid steer, excavators, back hoes and vertical lifts as required after training
+ Assisting Heavy Equipment Operators and other departments with hauling materials
+ Snow removal during the snow season
+ Other duties as assigned
+ Note: flexible schedule to accommodate a 4x10 schedule as needed and this position will require periodic on-call scheduling

**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Must be a high school graduate or GED
+ Must have a minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training. Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience
+ Must maintain a valid state **CDL Class A** driver's license with a minimum of one-year successful experience safely driving straight bodied trucks and/or tractor-trailer combinations without an accident. (no restrictions)
+ Must have Tanker Endorsement or be willing to obtain within 6 months of employment
+ Experience operating a semi-truck preferred.
+ Physically capable of lifting 75 pounds.
+ Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred
+ Be able to work alone unsupervised
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
+ For positions requiring use of a Company and/or Customer vehicle, must have a safe driving record within the past 36 months, as defined by Company policy.
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions and vibration. The employee occasionally works in precarious places and is occasionally exposed to dust and debris.
