Global Procurement Team Delivery Assurance Manager

The Hanwha Aerospace USA Procurement Quality Manager will be responsible for all activities associated with the Supply Chain function reporting directly to the Global Procurement Team leader
Location: Based in PC(Cheshire Connecticut)
Reports to: Global Procurement Team Leader
Salary Grade: Senior Buyer
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Global Procurement Team Delivery Assurance Manager coordinates with suppliers and shipping carriers to ensure that parts are delivered on time to support engine manufacturing demand.
Individuals in this role are critical to our delivery process and will be in direct contact with suppliers to ensure demand alignment, track part status and determine risks to delivery.
Delivery assurance will work closely with operations leads, procurement, quality and engineering to escalate and resolve risks to ensure customer satisfaction.
Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple suppliers
Run delivery meetings with suppliers
Utilize Supplier Portals to ensure demand alignment with supplier
Track supplier stock levels and parts in build process
Record and update shipping commitments from supplier in commit database
Determine and escalate risks to delivery
Work with supplier and buyer team to resolve risks
Drive supplier to on time delivery
Track parts in transit and resolve issue in transit
To understand Export License(ITAR & EAR) and manage the Export license process in Hanwha Aerospace USA.
Follow up to ensure on-time delivery of components, raw materials and outside processing.
Work collectively with business partners, suppliers, to create synergy between Hanwha Korea, Hanwha Vietnam, and Hanwha USA.
Negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs & lead time of purchased products and outside services.
Interact frequently with Purchasing and Program Management personnel in Korea & Vietnam.
To facilitate weekly conference calls with global site buyers in Korea and Vietnam to collaborate on strategic and tactical needs of the business.
Physical Demands :
Some lifting, moving instrumentation, performing tests in various areas of the facility required
Must be able to lift, push, or pull at least 20 lbs.
Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move about our facility
Work Environment:
Work is usually performed in a combination of office and plant settings.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Aerospace Industry.
Strong understanding of
  1. Supply Chain Management
  2. Components, raw materials and outside processing in Aircraft Engine business
  3. ITAR and EAR requirement for exporting goods to South Korea

Ability to understand engineering drawing, bill of materials and technical requirements in Aerospace Industry.
Solid understanding of AS9100 and ISO-9000.
Required Bachelor's Degree in a related field
Must be a “US Person” as defined by US Government and able to work without restriction with ITAR related data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English, bilingual in Korean preferred.
Various other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Participate in training as required
Domestic /International Travel required
