Forklift Operator (1st Shift)

Candidate Source has an opening for experienced Forklift Operators (Sit-Down) in Chester, VA. This position is with a growing manufacturer/distributor offering 40 hours per week and weekly pay.
Shift: 1st shift: Rotating days 7:00am - 7:00pm
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Loading/Unloading product using both sit-down and stand-up reach forklifts.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Secure loads to the machine before transportation.
• Managing inventory utilizing an RF Scanner.
• Pick product and wrap/secure for shipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must be able to read shipping/receiving documents (BOLS, Pick Tickets, Packing Lists)
• Experience loading/unloading trucks using a sit-down forklift
• Must have at least 3 years of experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift
• Ability to work as part of cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Previous experience working in a distribution/warehouse environment
