Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Modesto, CA

**Job Title:** Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse
**Job Specialty:** Labor & Delivery - Critical Need
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor and Delivery
**License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
**Must-Have:**
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Participation in Winter Plan
**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Monitor, assess, and document the condition of mothers and newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care strategies.
- Administer medications and perform specialized procedures as per the care plan.
- Educate and support mothers and families throughout labor and delivery, addressing any concerns.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and nursing standards.
- Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations in the labor and delivery setting.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, and one year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
- High-risk obstetric experience is preferred.
Please note the requirement for a current Registered Nurse License in the state of practice, and certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation.
